Emilia Gauch
2020 Whipple Writing Fellow
Emelia Gauch '21 was born in Brookline and attended school there until 6th grade. Emelia then went to a Jewish day school for middle school, before entering BHS in 9th grade. She is a pisces, but terrified of swimming in the ocean and touching a fish. Her favorite food is rice because it is very versatile and she unironically loves bad television shows. She enjoys watching movies with her family (who she is very close to), listening to music, doing art and performing in school plays. The best types of movies, in her opinion, are documentaries and she loves ones that revolve around social justice issues. Emelia sometimes imagines life as a movie and feels that the song What’s Up by 4 Non Blondes would have to be on said movies soundtrack. One day, she hopes to be a doctor or do medical research so she can help people.
