Timur Tuncman

2024 Whipple Writing Fellow

Timur Tuncman ‘25 serves on the BHS legislature and student council. He also plays soccer for BHS and the clarinet in the BHS concert band. Outside of school, he volunteers at the Haley House soup kitchen and Goddard House assisted living home. He also plays club soccer for the Boston Bolts. In his free time he enjoys reading books, usually non-fiction; playing video games, mainly FIFA; binging Netflix, and hanging out with friends. He also enjoys watching soccer and is willing to wake up early on weekends to watch Premier League soccer and root for his favorite team, Manchester United. He enjoys traveling, visiting new places, and meeting new people. Timur has always been an avid reader, and these past few years has found a new joy for writing and has been able to cultivate and foster this passion through the Whipple Writing program.
